It does what it does albeit it could be a bit lower and wider to accomodate for more space to plug the power adapters of certain devices like Apple charging head.

The cable management bar comes for free with the desk purchase. There are a few options but this is the most basic. However, it still does its job. Happy with the purchase.

These are pretty good when you wands bundle things up real tight. Almost like cable ties. I like using them to pack small items together for storage or travels.
